Maintenance is technical work performed to decrease the chance of problems
occurring. This Includes, but is not limited to:
Hard Drive: This allows a qualified technician to browse the contents of a hard drive and clean off any unnecessary files. Files such as deleted items, temp files, Internet files, and others take up critical space that slow a machine. Once these files are cleaned, unnecessary programs can also be removed (at the approval of the user) and a systems integrity check can be performed.
Repair: Our long-term commitment has been to maximize uptime and availability of your entire network. To achieve this, The ICI Computers stock an extensive list of replacement parts. From hard drives, cables, monitors, memory, we are able to get you back up and running in minimal time.
If your computers are several years old it may be the right time to upgrade your computer hardware and software. New software may require more power or more memory to operate effectively. Software may need to be upgraded to provide new functionality and maintain compatibility with other software applications. Technology is moving so fast that many hardware and software components are quickly out of date and without support from the vendor.

Cleaning and regular preventative maintenance of a computer and peripherals
involves the removal of dust and other debris from the components, cleaning
the component and where practical the inside. Checking the cable and connections
for wear or looseness, running software that checks the disks and software
for possible problems and ineffective use. This includes virus checking,
deleting unwanted files and software, and disk de fragmentation. We have
a checklist of items that we go through for this service.
We offer several types of maintenance contracts whereby we will visit
you on a regular basis to check for problems and do routine maintenance.
In many cases such a maintenance plan can catch problems before they really
become big or happen at all.
